25 Guest Lecture (7.1)
25.1 Introduction
This will be an invited talk by a visiting speaker, Ross Methven.
Ross currently works within the Major Projects Team at the University of Strathclyde as his day job developing industry partnerships though also has a role supporting the SFA as a Consultant Performance Analyst.
Ross initially studied Applied Sport Science at Edinburgh University, gaining work experience across his undergraduate studies with Hibernian FC, across Sport Science, Performance Analysis and Recruitment teams across 3 seasons before completing a MSc in Business & Management at the University of Stirling.
At Stirling he was the performance analyst to Shelley Kerr for the Women’s first team, which then brought him into the youth national team set-up at the SFA. Since 2018 he has worked across both Men’s and Women’s youth national teams and the Women’s A team, across UEFA competitions and the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France.
